Dr. Lyla Turkzadeh, D.M.D., is a general family and cosmetic dentist who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1998. She also completed a Fellowship in Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2001, Dr. Turkzadeh acquired Clayton Valley Dental. Over the past decade, she has expanded her expertise through post-graduate courses in Invisalign, implants, and cosmetic dentistry to offer her patients the absolute best dental experience possible. She is passionate about ensuring that patients have a comfortable and pain-free experience and leave with a healthy, beautiful smile. Additionally, she is dedicated to teaching and currently serves as a clinical instructor at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco).
Dr. Lyla Turkzadeh is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care including emergency appointments for those unexpected and urgent situations. Your oral health is her priority, no matter the circumstances.
Please note that we use Protective Personal Equipment, KN95 masks, gowns, hand sanitizers, air purifiers with UV-C, COVID-antibody screening kits, high-vac suction systems, and ozone water to help protect everyone in the office. I hate going to the dentist and only go when I have to. I get really nervous. I found Dr. Turkzadeh on Zocdoc and I'm glad that I did. I was contacted by her dental assistant who was very professional. Dr. Turkzadeh was very good in calming my nerves through the anesthesia process. She explained my treatment thoroughly and explained other issues that I didn't realize that I had having gone to a previous dentist a couple of years before. I had such a great experience that my entire family will make their appointments for teeth cleanings. I look forward to continue seeing Dr. Turkzadeh in the future. Dr. Turkzadeh was great. Very informative and took her time to explain herself and my course of treatment. The only issue I did have is that my appointment was at 11:45am but I didn't even get my x-rays done till about 12:45pm and then took another 30 minutes to get back to me about the results. Her staff doesn't seem to be as professional as she is. Besides that, all in all a decent visit.

Dr. Lyla was a LIFESAVER. I am so thankful that I searched for a dentist last weekend on ZocDoc and found her. I missed my most recent dental cleaning because I moved cities. I was in desperate need for a cleaning when I found her. Putting aside the awesomeness of ZocDoc, she was simply just wonderful. So friendly and really cared about the health of my teeth, something I feel my previous dentist did not do so well after seeing her. She noticed my clicking jaw, which I've had problems since I got my wisdom teeth out 6 years ago. For that recommended a night guard. And I am so excited, despite how painful it might be, for my deep gum cleaning! Thanks so much ZocDoc and Dr. Lyla!!

Lifesaver! I came in with severe pain on one of my remaining wisdom teeth. I was presented with a few choices and the logical one was to yank it out.
The procedure took a while as it was stuck quite tightly but after 20min or so it finally came loose. Dr. Lyla was very patient and showed great bedside manner which helped to relax me.
Its now been almost 24h and the swelling is minor and bleeding has stopped. I took one pain killer yesterday but so far didnt need another yet. All in all quite a good experience (and usually dental proceedures are on par with spiders and clowns!)

After not visiting a dentist in a long time, I wasn't sure who I should make an appointment with at first. However, I'm very happy to say that I've found my new dentist! Dr. Turk and her staff are all very friendly, efficient, and professional. I was immediately seen by the doctor with the warmest of greetings, and all of my needs were met during the procedure. The office is also very nice and clean. I will definitely be coming back again with my family!

Went for a filling that i had gotten done from someone else and had fallen out. She filled it and it ended up falling out the next morning. Now I'm going to have to go back to another dentist because it fell out again for the 3rd time. I do not recommend coming here of you want good dentistry.

Because of Dr. Turk I love going to the dentist, which is a pretty big deal. Besides the fact that she is very educated and professional, she is so kind and caring and I always feel like I'm getting the best in her care. I would highly recommend her to anybody.

Dr Turk was attentive, helpful and and made the leisureless activity of a dentist visit more pleasant. She went above and beyond to call me the day after my appt to make sure I was not having Too much pain, and made herself available to me if I had any further issues or questions. I will be back to her office soon.
