About Dr. Mohammad Ali Tabatabaeei-Fatemi
Dr. Fatemi is a gentle, caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials & procedures. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Fatemi is a careful listener & will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.
After attending the University of Maryland at College Park, Dr. Fatemi received his doctorate from the Columbia School of Dental & Oral Surgery at New York. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in orthodontics, TMD (facial pain, headaches) therapy, dental implants & pediatrics. He also attended the prestigious Pankey Institute in Florida, where he focused on occlusion (bite) & its relationship to TMD & muscle problems in facial-pain patients. Here he developed a patient-centered treatment philosophy geared toward preventive dentistry to avert uncomfortable dental problems & promote patient health. The doctor has completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Columbia University’s School of Dental & Oral Surgery in affiliation with New York Presbyterian Hospital. He also undertook two years of continuing education in implant dentistry & one year of intense training for IV sedation at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Fatemi is the Past President of Southern Maryland Dental Association and member the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology & the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a fellow & member in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also holds Mastership in Academy of General Dentistry, a degree that only 2% of dentist in United States hold.
Dr. Fatemi provides IV sedation for special need and anxious patients in his practice.
Dr. Fatemi has introduced CAD/CAM dentistry into his practice in 2024 and he is now able to fabricate crowns and bridges in house for his patients less than 24 hours.

taking x-ray and cleaning could have been smoother. the lady who did my x-ray was not much experience, which caused a lot of probing and bruised gums.

I felt like I was being rushed into a monetary decision without due diligence being done to look into my teeth situation and payment options. It felt like an all or nothing situation and sign on the dotted line for upsale tactics in the chair. Even had to provide financial deposit for a procedure that was to be done in the future. Had to be refunded because the extent of financial deposit was not actually provided in service.
