She believes in forming a strong collaborative relationship with each patient to understand their needs and help them achieve excellent oral health. She also understands that visiting the dentist may be a stressful experience for some and work to ensure her patients are at ease, while attaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Kern recently returned to her home state of Connecticut after spending 10 years in Boston, and is thrilled to be back. She enjoys exploring new experiences in the area, including trying new restaurants, hiking, and gardening. She is an avid chef and baker, and has recently started learning to play golf with her husband, though she still has much to learn! Dr. Kern is a member of the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Women in Dentistry.
