After graduating from West Bengal University of Health Sciences in India, Dr. Ganguly received her Dental Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She also received her Masters degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. She’s a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She speaks Hindi and Bengali. She has helped organize and participate in free dental camps for kids in India and Nepal. Using data from these camps, she has studied the relationship between malnutrition and poor childhood oral health (with UC Berkeley researchers). She loves travelling, cooking and spending time with her spouse and toddler.
