About Dr. Maha Boulos
Dr. Boulos received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington, GO Huskies, in Seattle, WA. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington, graduating with honors and receiving a certificate of service for her commitment to service.
Known to her patients as Dr. Maha, she chose dentistry to help people feel happier and more confident about themselves. She understands the challenges faced by those without access to adequate care and is dedicated to giving back to the community both locally and globally. Dr. Maha has volunteered to provide dental care to underserved populations in Jamaica, Jordan, and locally through CDA Cares events.
A South Bay resident, Dr. Maha M. Boulos lives here with her husband and their three children. She strives to put patients at ease by taking the time to answer all questions and address every concern during your visits.

Today, I underwent a crown procedure, and I was very impressed with the team’s gentle, thorough, and communicative approach. The treatment was so painless that I didn’t even feel a thing. Considering the amount of dental work I’ve had in the past, this experience was undoubtedly the best.

They cancelled my appointment without informing me until I got to the office. They also lied to my face twice about calling to cancel (never got a phone call) and that the next available appointment is a month out (Zocdoc showed several available time slots before then). Will never go back there even if there are no other dentists in the world.

Not once did I feel dishonest advice and treatments being pushed onto. me or rushed through out my appointment. I’ve never had a great experience in any dental office like at south dental smiles. I had an appointment at 8 am. Since it was so early, I expected the staff to be cranky. It has been my experience in other places. However, everyone was so nice. My dental cleaning went well as well. I would definitely come back.

Everyone that worked with me was very welcoming and the whole process was thorough and easy, felt like a dream. Dr. Maha explained to me everything I wanted to know and broke down the concepts or questions I wanted to understand. I didn’t feel rushed and felt well taken care of. The office has higher technology than my prior dentist office so that was a plus as well. They implemented minimal pain for me during a filling and I really appreciated that. Will be going back for a cleaning soon so am looking forward to what that will be like.

I needed to find a new dentist since my move to CA. I've had extensive dental work done in the past, so going to the dentist is a little nerve-racking for me.
