About Dr. Mahesh Yalamanchili
Dr. Mahesh Yalamanchili’s calming nature and attention to detail are what patients value most about him. He diligently keeps up with the latest advancements in dental techniques to give patients the highest quality of care.
He has experience in numerous dental specialties including cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral and periodontal surgeries, and orthodontics including Invisalign®.
He believes in developing a thorough and comprehensive treatment plan unique to each patient’s needs. He focuses on communication before, during, and after each treatment to develop trust and long-term relationships with his patients.
Dr. Mahesh Yalamanchili was born and raised in Fairfax Station, VA. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he continued his education at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ to receive advanced training in managing medically compromised patients and gain experience treating inpatient and same-day surgery patients.
Outside of dentistry, you’ll likely find him exploring local wineries, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and animals. He also enjoys cooking and eating at new restaurants.

My experience was very positive. I called ahead and they let me know of all the things I had to complete prior to my appointment. The staff was super nice, responsive, and helpful. The dentist was quick, efficient, and knowledegable. I'd recommend this dentist office to anybody in the area.

My online appointment was acknowledged. The office sent me a very detailed new patient profile to fill out but when I arrived, they weren't sure I had an appointment and then they thought I was there for a consult versus a new patient appointment.
I didn't think I was treated like a new patient. The only thing they did was take x-rays and very quick cleaning and a flupride treatment. No one went through my file with me. No vitals were taken. At my former dental office, no procedure was performed without first taking my blood pressure.
It's a big practice with big prices. I moved from another state and my old dentist office was small. The charge for fluoride treatment was more than doubled. I found that i have a cavity and I need a cap according to dentist and even with my high-option insurance my out of pocket costs were pretty steep.
However, the doctor was nice and attentive enough. I guess I am just used to a more intimate experience. I am not sure if I will return.

Dr. Mahesh was truly wonderful and caring! I had a very traumatizing dental experience at a different location ( not affiliated with this dentistry), which makes dental visits a nightmare. He took his time to get to know what would make me feel comfortable.
He was knowledgeable and thorough about the best treatment plan for my teeth. His 3D images were very helpful and supported me in understanding what my teeth looked like and what the next step should be. The day of the procedure, he talked through each step and made sure I was comfortable.
Thank you, Dr. Mahesh for caring not only for my teeth but for me as a person! You changed my entire dental experience.

Dr. Mahesh was very professional and helpful when I came to see him about my suddenly chipped tooth. He was very thorough in fixing my tooth and my tooth looks as if it was never chipped! He also took the time to explain to me how it could’ve happened and what I should do so it doesn’t happen again. I would recommend Dr. Mahesh to anyone who is looking for a dentist!
