I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Lai. Her staff are professional, efficient and caring.
I first came because I had a tooth that needed extracting. The team did a great job of numbing my mouth and the tooth. Then within minutes they had pulled the tooth with no problems. I have since recovered well.

For over 26 years, we've been helping the community with services ranging from complex oral problems to routine check-ups. Our team has the experience and skill set to help you with your dental needs.
Our knowledgeable and friendly professional staff will make your visit easy and pleasant
It's great to have a friendly staff, but even better when you know that your dentists are some of the best and brightest in the profession. All of our dentists remain focused through continuing education courses given by NY County Dental Society, ADA, and many other dental specialist societies. In addition to routine dental care, our dentists are trained in the latest techniques to treat dental diseases, perform non-surgical periodontal care, and discuss many treatment plans with our patients.
Cleanliness is Paramount
Having a clean office should be a given standard, but we go the extra mile. Our office sterility is second to none. We have made significant investments to ensure we have packaged sterility of instruments. Air is filtered throughout the office and water is sterilized to prevent biofilm in the dental treatment units. We have a full time resource dedicated strictly to cleaning our office 7 days a week. We have a private patient bathroom on site that is not shared with any other office and is cleaned every 30 minutes.
Our patient chairs consist of ample spacing from adjacent chairs and are separated with frosted glass walls for patient privacy. Each patient chair has views of Manhattan, some of which overlook Manhattan bridge.

They always overbook. So unprofessional!! Also, Dr. Lai apparently doesn't like to have to do cleanings but I guess they were short on hygienists this afternoon. Rushed and incomplete cleaning. She spent no more than 60 seconds (I'm not kidding) polishing my teeth. She literally dragged the polisher across some of my teeth and said I could now rinse out. Ridiculous. Quantity over quantity in this office. Sad.

She didn't seem to care what it was that was ailing me. I complained about certain pains that she was pretty keen just to dismiss. I couldn't understand why she was being so dismissive. It made me really uncomfortable and generally just had me feeling sad and hopeless about my condition. I would never go to this doctor again.
