About Dr. Margaret Pham
Dr. Margaret K. Pham was born in Arlington, Virginia and grew up in nearby Annandale, Virginia. She then attended Howard University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. There, she was elected to the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She was also the recipient of the Frank M. Lapeyrolerie Memorial Award and the American Association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award for outstanding performance and achievement in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
After dental school, Dr. Pham pursued an additional four years of specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital. During these four years, she augmented her surgical education and experiences through working with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington DC, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and Winchester Medical Center, becoming proficient in dental extractions, implants, advanced bone grafting techniques, anesthesia techniques, facial trauma, management of TMJ disorders, and orthognathic surgery. She also received training with the facial plastic department at MedStar Georgetown Hospital under world-renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Posnick. As Chief Resident, Dr. Pham was granted the Thomas J. Pinson Award for high scholastic achievement and overall clinical excellence in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Pham has also had the opportunity to give back to the community by participating in DC oral health screening events as well as taking part in medical/dental mission trips to Cameroon, Jamaica, and Eritrea.

Dr Pham is alright, not overly nice but does a good job. My first consult wasn’t even bad, went pretty well. The real problem lies in the assistants, never in any medical office setting have I been so surprised by how rude and cold they were. I made sure to check reviews too! Do not visit this clinic unless you have no other choice, after surgery I was met with an extremely rude assistant who literally yelled at me after coming out of surgery multiple times, my caretaker that was with me to pick me up was just appalled. Never in my life would I go back to this clinic horrible experience. Please be aware if you want to go to a kind and respectful environment do not go here.
