Dr. Kaus earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University and completed her residency through the Northwell Heath-Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Kaus has achieved high professional accolades being selected to serve as the Chief Dental Officer for a large dental group in New York as well as maintained a successful private practice in several boroughs. Dr. Kaus believes in evidence-based and technology-improved dentistry - as such, she is highly active in the professional community being a member of the American Dental Association, RADA, International Association of Police Surgeons, Holocaust Survivor Oral Health Program and Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals. Advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry requires hundreds of hours of post-graduate training. Gifted with an artistic eye, a rigorous program of post-graduate training, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Dr. Kaus has become a highly trained and credentialed dentists. I went to this doctor after seeing reviews on zocdoc. The office was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but the rest of my experience was not what I expected. I had an appointment for 9;30 and wasnt seen by someone until 11. When I finally was seen it wasnt by Dr. Margaritas Kaus but by another doctor who's name I can't remember. The reason for my appointment was to extract wisdom teeth. By the greeting of the fast talking doctor I knew that their was no one on site that could do this and I would have to come back. I was right. They booked me for another appointment in August (its June now), but not before trying to sell me a 3D x-ray, with a fear tactic of possibly hitting a nerve when they extract my tooth, but is not covered by insurance. This seemed like a gimmick. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm definitely not going back. This was my experience I have no hard feelings towards anyone just wasnt what I expected.

Although I did not like all the news I heard, the information was Direct and I was explained ALL the Treatment Plan and procedure. I would definitely use this Dentist again. Although there was a small wait, I did not mind and expected as such. A Hidden Gem!

Amazing service! It was a while since my last cleaning so I was worried about the damage. The doctor and the staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to approach this situation. They were able to walk me through the steps and help me repair some of the damage. Something would generally take me three or more visits, the team in attendance was able to see me on the same visit and help me start the repair process.
I am Extremely grateful for their support and exceptional service.

I waited an hour in the chair waiting to meet the dentist. In the meantime, the hygienist was trying to sell me a lot of services in a “plan of care” such as deep gum cleaning, crowns and fixing a wisdom tooth and probably Invisalign since they unnecessarily gave me a 360 degree X-ray on top of a full set of X-rays. All before I ever met my dentist or had a chance to decide if I even liked going there or how much things would cost over insurance. It was a money grab in an office where they made it look like a European Wax of multiple medical services. A clean office but still it felt super grimy.
