Dr. Maria Isabel Acherman, D.D.S., is a dedicated general dentist at Gental Dental Irvine. She earned her dental degree from Unicoc in 2008 before furthering her education at Loma Linda School of Dentistry, where she obtained her D.D.S. in 2020. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Acherman is passionate about connecting with her patients and ensuring they feel confident and comfortable with their dental care. She was inspired to pursue dentistry after positive childhood experiences at the dentist and was drawn to the profession’s unique combination of science, artistry, and manual skill. She finds great fulfillment in improving both the function and aesthetics of her patients’ smiles while fostering strong relationships built on trust and compassion. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Acherman enjoys skiing, exercising, and playing board games.
