Dr. Maria Ortiz’s primary goal is to make each dental visit positive and fun thus making dental appointments pleasant and relaxing for both patients and parents. Her pediatric training placed a special emphasis on behavioral management and family dynamics, and she takes great pride in ensuring every child leaves her care happy, with a big bright, healthy smile.
Dr. Ortiz attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and discovered a passion for working with children. She completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at one of New York University’s Langone Hospital locations in Massachusetts. Dr. Ortiz is happy to be back in Florida treating young patients.
Dr. Ortiz is proficient in all areas of Pediatric dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and fluent in both English and Spanish.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Ortiz enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, cooking, traveling and making other smile.
