She did not rush me, and even though she was attending to multiple patients simultaneously, I felt as if I were the only one in the office. Her team was excellent. Grace did a good job with the X-rays, and Anna, the office manager, was amazing. She really went above and beyond in helping me with the cost breakdown, choosing the right payment options, and navigating the insurance companies. The entire staff was friendly and the office was spotless. This was my first appointment with Dr. Gutierrez, and I am very excited to work with her and her team to get my smile to where I want it to be.”

About Dr. Maria Gutierrez
Dr. Maria Gutierrez was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of 16, she discovered her passion and decided to become a dentist. She attended five years of training at the prestigious Universidad Santa Maria School of Dental Medicine in Venezuela, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004 and later completed a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry, earning a specialist degree in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Gutierrez worked closely with her father, a renowned pediatric doctor, at their medical-dental office in Caracas, where she treated children and adults with complex medical and dental problems.
After working in her own private practice for a while in Venezuela, Dr. Gutierrez decided to move to the United States to further her professional development. In 2012, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. She also served as an assistant professor, teaching removable and restorative dentistry to dental students after graduation.
Dr. Gutierrez has a combined eighteen years of clinical experience in dentistry, working with both children and adult patients in all aspects of dental care. She has continued to advance her training with continuing education classes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and implantology, always eager to master new technologies.
She speaks fluent English and Spanish and is well known for her gentle touch and calming personality. With a true love and passion for her work, she takes great pride in delivering excellent dental care to all her patients.

Hygienist was fast taking radiographs and thorough during the cleaning. Doctor took her time to explain treatment plan options.

I loved how much care and attention the doctor and staff provided on my visit. From the very beginning I was welcomed and attended quickly. I did not have to wait for more than 5 minutes. The dental hygienist - Mayra is lovely. She explained how to properly keep up with my oral hygiene. I'll be returning for my next dental treatment.
