About Dr. Maria Marcial
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Marcial attended the University of the East, where she completed her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine. After practicing for several years, she moved to New York City and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University School of Dentistry. Following her doctoral degree, she worked as an associate in Flushing, Queens, for a few years before successfully acquiring the practice.
Dr. Marcial is dynamic, energetic, friendly, and caring. Reputed for her combination of artistic and technical expertise, she is a master at creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles. She believes that the smile reflects the overall health and well-being of an individual. Dr. Marcial sincerely cares about every one of her patients.

I hadn't been to a dentist in over a decade for a variety of reasons (mostly financial), including the fact that I'm autistic and have always had a really bad experience with other dentists. I mentioned being autistic to the hygienist who did my cleaning and she was very understanding and accommodating! She explained everything she was doing before she did it, she made it clear that I could let her know if I needed to take a break at any point, and not once did she give me a hard time about not flossing enough! The dentist was just as kind and did a great job of explaining everything. Highly recommend, especially for anyone with any kind of anxiety about going to the dentist!

Great bedside manner, gentle, and got the job done quickly. Do feel like they are a bit money hungry, so definitely ask for explanations on why they want to perform certain procedures - she recommended I get Invisalign when I have perfectly straight teeth.
