About Dr. Maria Martinez
Dr. Maria Martinez was born and raised in Cuba. Her journey into dentistry was profoundly influenced by a personal experience: witnessing her mother endure a severe toothache sparked Dr. Martinez’s passion for dental care and inspired her to pursue a career in the field.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she expanded her outreach efforts through mission trips to South America and the Caribbean. These trips allowed her to provide essential dental care to underserved communities and introduced her to the field of endodontics, which captivated her interest and set the course for her specialization. Following dental school, Dr. Martinez completed a Residency in General Practice at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull and earned a Certificate in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Martinez is passionate about spending quality time with her family, which she cherishes deeply.
