About Dr. Marianne Spamer

Dr. Marianne Spamer, RDH, BS, DDS, is a graduate of the UC Medical Center Dental Hygiene program in San Francisco and Washington University, St. Louis, School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She worked alongside her brother, Dr. Rolf Spamer, DDS, MSD, a children’s dentist in Menlo Park and Hayward. Her sister-in-law was also a dental hygienist. Dr. Spamer taught for three years at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and studied for three years under the Pride Institute. She has served as Vice President of the Alameda County Dental Hygiene Association, been active in the Berkeley chapter, and was Vice President of her dental school fraternity. Dr. Spamer graduated dental school with top awards in Periodontics, Restorative Dentistry, and Endodontics, and received the equivalent of a Phi Beta Kappa honor. Her volunteer work includes the Berkeley Free Clinic, Remote Area Medical for five years, and Stand Down Veterans Events. Since 1978, she has maintained her dental practice in the San Ramon area, treating three to four generations of many families. She is recognized as the premier San Ramon dentist in the community.
