“The office is in a great location and easy to find. The front desk team was super helpful and friendly. The clinic itself is very clean, well-organized, and welcoming. My appointment was at 5:00 PM, and I was seen exactly on time - no waiting at all, which was a big plus!
I had originally booked the appointment with Dr. Mariana Klappas, but ended up being seen by Dr. Sara instead. I wasn't informed about the change. It wasn’t a problem for me since Dr. Sara was fantastic, but it might matter to others who prefer to see a specific dentist.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and think Levy Dental Arts might become my new go-to dental practice.

About Dr. Marina Klappas
Dr. Marina Klappas is a passionate general dentist serving Long Island, where she was born and raised. She attended the 7-year accelerated joint degree program at Adelphi University and NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Klappas multitasked many activities during her educational years, including but not limited to attending pediatric outreaches, performing private tutoring, and aiding incoming dental students as a peer mentor. She was also a leader in the tri-beta biology honors society.
Upon graduation, Dr. Klappas attended residency at Montefiore Medical Center where she honed her clinical skills and developed a deeper understanding of patient care. During residency, she gained invaluable hands-on experience working in the tense environment of the operating room and emergency department. This was where she was able to expand her knowledge and focus on more complex dental cases as she went into private practice.

I went to Levy Dental Arts after searching for dentists on my plan's website. She had great reviews, and the office was close enough to my house, so I thought why not? The front desk staff were very nice and friendly which is important. they are your first impression. Then I met Marie, her assistant was friendly, kind, very sweety and gentle. Dr. Klappas was professional but warm. She explained what she would be doing and reassured me along the process when I was doing well. I don't even like the thought of going to the dentist. But Dr. Klappas was superb. She has a nice bedside manner and doesn't rush through the process. Very reassuring and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. I felt very comfortable in the office and was glad that I didn't have a long wait. I do have to check my bill but other than that, I like this office very much indeed.

The office had a warm, friendly feel to it. I felt so good knowing my daughter will be safe. The front desk was professional and warm, the music was entertaining, the doctor that took care of my daughter was informative, knowledgeable and kind, very patient, and thorough. I felt comfortable with my daughter being in their hands. Only downside is they don’t take insurance for extractions but id still recommend them 100%!

Dr. Klappas is the most attentive dentist I've visited. She made my experience comfortable and stress-free - she even explained everything she was doing! It was also helpful that she could communicate with my grandmother who only speak, Greek, it really made a difference. Everyone at the office was friendly and the room was clean. Would definitely recommend!!

I just had a visit w/ Dr Klappas today & have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Having been a pt of Dr. Levy's for many years, I was hesitant to see a new Dr. She was very patient, informative & just a pleasure to speak with! I look forward to seeing her for my future visits.

I cannot tell you how much I love Dr. Klappas I ve always dreaded going to the dentist but my experience completely changed that I felt no discomfort and I was so received to be in such caring hands. They went above and beyond toe ase my anxiety. I cant thank Dr. Klappas and the team enough highly reccomend this practice especially if you have dental anxiety like I did.
