About Dr. Marina Milgrom
Since childhood Dr. Marina Milgrom, always had a desire to help others. Whether it was helping out or volunteering, Dr. Marina wanted to make someone smile. Years later that compassion and patience are two of the most valuable traits she offers her patients.
Dr. Marina received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from NYU College of Dentistry graduating with an honors in Special Patient Care. Dr. Marina was on student council, president of alpha omega dental fraternity as well as dedicating additional clinical time with children of the NYU Pediatric Program and “Child Life” at Bellevue hospital.
Dr. Marina Milgrom volunteered in communities all around NY teaching children importance of oral hygiene. Completed a week long multi- specialty outreach in Maine treating hundreds of patients with her fellow colleagues. With all this hard work, Dr. Marina was awarded recipient of numerous awards such as The Dr. Alexander and Sylvia Goldenberg Award “For exhibiting proficiency and great interest in Pediatric Dentistry and continuing interest in Orthodontics. As well as the Robert J. Ditolla Memorial Award “ For excellence in clinical dentistry”.
Dr. Marina continued her education by completing an Pediatric Dental residency at a trauma one center, Brookdale University Hospital and medical center, where she gained experience in dental traumas, sedations, medically complex children, special needs, working alongside general dentists and Oral surgeons.
Dr. Marina takes pride in ensuring her young patients are comfortable throughout their dental appointments. Her goal is to have each child leave the office feeling proud, accomplished, and excited to return! She enjoys staying up to date, reading the latest guidelines, and keeping up in her memberships of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and Alpha Omega Fraternity.
