About Dr. Martin Fernandez-Feo

Dr. Martin Fernandez-Feo is a well-known periodontist and dental implant specialist who uses the most updated techniques and equipment to maintain and restore the supporting tissues of the teeth; and, if necessary, to remove hopeless teeth and build the foundation to replace them with dental implants. Dr. Fernandez-Feo's surgical and comprehensive dental experience, along with the other dental specialists and team at Doral Dental Specialty Center, provide their patients with the best dental care and service available. Dr. Martin Fernandez-Feo earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela, in 2006. After graduation, he worked in private practice for four years alongside his father, Dr. Martin Fernandez-Feo Sr., a renowned periodontist from Boston University, in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2010, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and was accepted into the Advanced Specialty Program in Periodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology at Boston University in Boston, MA-where he was born while his father was completing the same program. After graduating with honors in 2013, he was appointed full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in Periodontics at the Department of General Dentistry and Post-Doctoral AEGD Program. He worked in the clinics with both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, teaching them the art of periodontology. In late 2014, Dr. Fernandez-Feo relocated to South Florida with his family, where he has been working in private practice and providing exceptional care as a periodontist and dental implant specialist. When he is not working, he spends most of his time outdoors-either fishing, boating, skiing, or hiking with family and friends.
