About Dr. Maryam Nabavi
Dr. Maryam Nabavi received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore. She was inspired and encouraged to pursue dentistry by her very own brother. While in dental school, she was involved in several honors organizations and participated in outreach programs, including a fulfilling experience in the Dominican Republic. While in the DR, she provided dental care to a very under-served and kind community. Her training culminated with a post graduate general residency at Christiana Hospital in Delaware, gaining invaluable knowledge on general dentistry and implant prosthodontics.
Since her training, Dr. Nabavi has worked for private practices in Maryland and Washington, DC. She has completed many continuing education courses to remain in the forefront of current research. She stays involved in the local dental organizations in order to build a strong network with local practitioners. Her focus is to practice the principle of optimal care and ensure the best dental service appropriate for the objectives and circumstances of her patients.
Health is very important to Dr. Nabavi. She has a very active lifestyle of regular workouts, running and weight training. She also focuses on maintaining a healthy diet to complement her lifestyle. She incorporates her outlook on health in her patient care and believes in comprehensive care of her patients, not just treating their teeth.

I would highly recommend Dr. Nabavi and her wonderful staff to anyone who might be looking for a dentist. Everyone was very kind and my mind was immediately put at ease. Dr. Nabavi did a wonderful job explaining everything. Heaven did a great job with the xrays and was very aware that I was in pain - and was very careful. Dawn took care of everything at the front desk, arranged for my appointment with a specialist and gave me my prescriptions. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Quite literally the best dentist boat I've ever had. Booking was effortless and I loved the steady reminders leading up to my appointment. I arrived early for my Invisalign fitting and there was a cancellation ahead of me and they squeezed me in for a phenomenal cleaning. My teeth felt amazing afterwards. The Invisalign fitting was truly painless and undramatic. I am so impressed. Such a personal team and Dr. Nabavi is so kind and generous with her time. I feel very lucky to have found this practice!

Everyone was pleasant and communicated well. My appointment was for 1:50Pm I was running a few minutes late and received a call from the receptionist at 1:55pm. I was near the location and she came out of the office to help navigate me in. That was extremely helpful for me. The hygienist walked me through every step and did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Nabavi was pleasant and easy to talk to.

Best cleaning ever! The hygienist was gentle but thorough. She was very friendly and educated me about my oral health. Dr. Nabavi was friendly and pleasant. She made sure to explain everything in terms I could understand.
