About Dr. Mateen Sheikh
Dr. Sheikh is truly one of the kindest, most welcoming people you will meet anywhere. He cares deeply about his patients and works hard to make every patient experience a great one.
Dr. Sheikh was born and raised in beautiful Florida. He received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2010 and then returned to the Sunshine State. Since 2010, Dr. Sheikh has continued to pursue his education and has received certifications in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Nitrous Sedation, and Orthodontics.
Dr. Sheikh enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in his spare time. On the weekends, you will most likely find him eating BBQ, watching football, and fixing things around the house. Once a year, when possible, Dr. Sheikh enjoys traveling to other countries and helping the underserved communities achieve basic needs.
Dr. Sheikh makes Lake Magdalene Dental the homey, friendly office it is while still providing his patients with expert dental care and beautiful smiles. We are so fortunate to have him call our office home.

I had an incredible experience with this dental office. My procedure was a reconstruction of my upper front teeth and even though this is just the beginning of the process I am already extremely happy with the work. I felt welcomed. The dentist truly has gifted hands. He was so gentle, delicate and attentive to my needs. As a patient from the moment I sat in the chair I felt safe, comfortable and in very trustworthy hands. He took his time and treated me with so much care and respect. The entire staff is amazing. Everyone is kind, professional and very attentive. The girl at the front desk is an absolute angel sent from heaven. She made the whole experience even better with her kindness and help. This is truly an excellent team and I recommend this dentist with my eyes closed. Without a doubt he is an angel, the best dentist I have had in all my years. I am very grateful and feel lucky to have found him and his office.

I came down from NY and needed emergency care. Dr. Sheikh and his staff were able to see me the same day, after a long day. I cannot give enough praise for the Dr. and the girls for the job they did. So glad I picked Lake Magdalene Dental.

I rarely leave reviews but Tatiana, Dr. Sheikh and the entire team at Lake Magdalene Dental truly deserve this one - and a million more. I've never felt so welcomed and comfortable in a dental office. They made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. I can't wait to finish my Invisalign treatment and show off my perfect smile! Not only they are professional and kind, they also very affordable and offer great financing options. Thank you. 5/5 I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Sheikh and his team. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Sheikh is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but also takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly and answer any question with patience and care. I truly felt listened to and respected as a patient. They make even the most nervous dental visits feel calm and manageable. 10/10
