It is an exciting time to practice dentistry, as new treatment approaches, technologies, and materials allow for better and more comfortable care. He focuses on expanding his knowledge and skills in aesthetic dentistry, Damon® bracket orthodontics, Invisalign®, crowns, restoring dental implants, dentures, root canals, and periodontal care. Being a general dentist enables him to provide a wide range of services for his patients. Born in Dowagiac, Dr. Cripe’s family moved to Sterling, Illinois, when he was in fourth grade. Despite the move, he maintained strong ties to Dowagiac and decided to return when Dr. Robert Neff—his very first dentist and next-door neighbor at birth—asked him to take over his practice. Matt married Beth (Judd) after his second year of dental school, and they have two grown children, Andrew and Maggie. Dr. Cripe and Beth are deeply committed to volunteering and believe strongly in giving back to their community. He has also participated in four medical and dental mission trips to Haiti.
