Dr. Matthew Lam is a native resident of Northern Virginia. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He has experience in both the private and public health sectors, including Invisalign, endodontics, children’s dentistry, restorative care, and surgery. Dr. Lam’s research experience, volunteer efforts, and awards reflect his commitment to providing excellent dental care for his patients. Known for his great bedside manner, he is gentle and caring. Dr. Lam was amazing! He was so kind and patient and was very concerned with my comfort. He took time to show me my X-rays and explain his recommendations as well as gave me tips on how to take the best care of my oral health. If you are in Annandale area bordering Alexandria this is the office for you. For routine appointment I was able to get into the office within a week. Quickly was seen for exam cleaning and xray and out the door in less than 30 min. Carmen at front desk was excellent and Dr Lam was knowledgeable and easy relaxed manner. Highly recommend!

Went to get a cleaning and filling repairs. Dr. Lam was great. Terrific bed side manner and explained everything along the way. I typically cringe when needing filling but Dr. Lam was painless and quick, my new fillings look/feel good.
