About Dr. Matthew Lasorsa

Dr. Matt Lasorsa graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduation he moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1998, where he completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. During his residency he developed an interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and Oral Surgery (extractions and implant placement) and has since limited his practice to these services. These skills allow us to do more procedures here in the office instead of referring these services elsewhere. Dr. Lasorsa and his wife (Dr. Alexsa Davila) have three children, he is an avid fisherman in both fresh and salt water and enjoys his time outdoors with his family.
