Dr. Abaian is called the “Engineer of the Smile” and with good reason! He began his career with a degree in engineering from Cal State Los Angeles. His love of structure and perfection led him to pursue a degree in biology, followed by completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Southern California. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Abaian earned a Certificate in Prosthodontics from Kois Dentistry. His unique background and interests have made him an outstanding cosmetic dentist. Dr. Abaian puts considerable thought and planning into the design and treatment of a smile. He understands that a smile makeover is a deeply personal transition. Tooth color, length and width of the tooth, size and shape of the patient's face – all are taken into consideration when designing a smile.

Dr. Avadian & Dr. Hannonkai are true angels among us. When I 18 , I was in a car accident that left me needing extensive cosmetic dental work. After several disappointing consultations at different dental offices over the past few years, I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Avadian & Dr. Hannonkai. Their impact on my life is indescribable. I will forever be grateful for their incredible work.

Came to Southland Dental Care for a consultation and Dr. Hmadah and Dr. Abaian recommended my upper to be all on X. My experience was amazing same day I had implants and teeth done on the same day amazing experience!

Excellent experience. all the staff was amazing. Dr. Abaian and Fidel explained to me how to brush and floss. The dental hygienist was very thorough and my teeth feel super clean. Since I have been coming to SDC I feel that I have been educated on how to maintain my oral health. I highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing!! I came into the office knowing I had a lot of work to be done and was very worried about how to begin the process. From top to bottom the staff was very professional and very educated in the field. Dr. Hmadah and Dr. Abaiah were so generous to do the unexpected work complimentary. I am forever grateful! What amazing doctors.

Best periodontist in the industry. The entire staff and great compassionate people. From Anna to Joanna and from both Doctors Hmadah and Abaian. Truly professionals in their field. Highly recommend!

The best in the west. These guys know what they’re doing. They’re fast and precise and do the job properly. Just came in for my Invisalign treatment. Dr. Abaian was very self explanatory of how I need to take care of the trays.

If you are thinking about having Southland dental care work on you teeth, think no more and make and appointment with them you won't be disappointed. I can't say enough good about Dr. Hanookai's and Dr. Abaian's experience and care they have for their patients. Everyone in the office that works together with Dr. Hanookai and Dr. Abaian are very caring people as well. I since moved from California to another state but still travel back for all my dental work. I will go no - where else.

...However, the staff at Southland dental care made me feel welcome, safe and like an actual person. Dr. Abaian is the most gentle & genuine dentist. He is a genuis! I have never been more confident in my smile. I also haven't missed a cleaning since my first visit. I love everyone here.

I've been a patient for many years and have had extensive work done there. My teeth and mouth are healthy now in my 60's. I get teeth maintained and cleaned by Azita and Dr. Abaian makes sure my smile looks good asthetically. Both doctors are perfectionists and you need this with dentsitry in my opinion.
