About Dr. Michael Bakken
Dr. Bakken was raised primarily in Rochester but has also lived in San Jose, California, & England during his youth. He graduated with honors in chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1989 & with honors from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1994. He has been using the CEREC® same-day crown machine in his office for over 20 years & has placed over 4,700 restorations. He has completed advanced continuing education courses in implant placement & restoration, mini implants, BOTOX treatment, bone grafting & root canals, as well as a 120-hour course in esthetic dentistry. Dr. Bakken has completed over 1500 root canals & over 600 implants.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife & family, serving in his church & coaching lacrosse & hockey.
