Great personality. Very honest approach and doesn't try to upsell you on unnecessary cosmetic dentistry unless you want to. Clean office and attentive staff. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recomended.

For various reasons, I hadn't been to a dentist in years. Like, 7 years. But I decided it was time to get my stuff in order and bite the bullet and go. Dr. Foxman made me feel immediately comfortable. He talked me through everything, warned me when I might feel a little discomfort (there was barely any, even with that much tartar), let me listen to the day baseball game my favorite team was playing, and I left with a big, clean smile on my face. He was not there to nickel and dime me with extra services. Somehow, I had no cavities, and even though that's just a stroke of luck, I feel like he should get some of the credit. I'll be back in 6 months!

Foxman is Fantastic! Extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and very funny. I almost can't wait to go back to the dentist.
Great dentist! Didn't recommend anything I didn't need like some dentists will. Saturday appointments are also a plus!

he is excellent to speak with and makes the experience at the dentist office enjoyable rather than dreadful.
Dr. Foxman was very friendly, polite, and thorough. He explained everything and was patient and attentive.

Dr. Foxman was great... very personable. My teeth feel great! The cleaning was painless too.
Such a friendly dentist! He gave me a very thorough exam and cleaning. Highly recommended.
The office smelled like cigarette smoke, probably just because it was in an old building.
Foxman is a typo for Fixman. Whatever your teeth or gums need, he is there . Thank you !
great visit very informative painless (we haven't yet started treatment)

He is the Janet Sarvin of dentistry !

Best dentist ever! Trustworthy, very friendly, funny, and excellent bedside manner. He even held the mirror up and let me do watch what he was doing -- I learned a thing or two about dentistry today!

I having Dr. Foxman as my dentist because he is friendly, explains everything to me, and is direct about what is needed. He also does not recommend random, unnecessary treatments.

I would definately recommend Dr. Michael Foxman to everyone! My wife recommened him to me. I haven't been to the dentist for many many years so I was really worried but he helped me settle down and feel comfortable. A good doctor and genuine person. Since I haven't been to the dentist for so long i have to go several more times for more cleaning, etc. He explained the next best steps for me very kindly. I am very thankful to him because even a simple cleaning for me takes much longer than the average person. He had to spend more energey and do extra to take care of my teeth but was very patient and kind until the end. I am much more comfortable visiting the dentist because of him.
Verified patient
He was really passionate about his job. He did an amazing job making my teeth clean and 3-4 shades lighter. I couldn't stop smiling because I thought my discolored tooth was a lost cause. In reality, I just had lots of tar. He was so thorough. I had never had a better dentist.

The wait was a while (>30 minutes, and I saw the doctor check his voicemails, etc. before taking me in), but Dr. Foxman is a no-nonsense doctor -- and he does all his own cleanings! He's funny, and isn't gonna do any unnecessary operations and charge your insurance -- he told me he's already paid his house off so he doesn't have to do that. ;) He's a big talker though! Appointment took 1.5 hours because of all the chatting and jokes. I enjoyed it however.
When you see Dr. Foxman, it's like you're spending time with a cherished friend who happens to have in depth knowledge of good dental care. He is by far the best dentist I have ever seen in my life and I look forward to seeing him again for a cleaning.
Verified patient
Dr. Foxman is the best dentist I've ever seen, hands-down. Seriously, he's the best in the business. Just try him and see for yourself.
Verified patient
Dr. Foxman was ready when I arrived and he took me straight in once I had completed my paperwork. He took a quick personal history then did a thorough cleaning. He was very careful not to cause any pain and he kept checking in with me and taking short breaks. I will return for my next cleaning.
Verified patient
Dr. Foxman was very congenial and warm. He thoroughly explained what was going on, and gave me a few options. it was refreshing to be given options. Many medical professionals will simply tell you what you need to do. I felt very respected and cared for.
Verified patient
I have been avoiding the dentist for ten years because of fear! I'm getting married soon and figured now is the best time to get checked out! Dr. Foxman was so understanding and empathetic about my fears. He was funny and entertaining while also being very careful to give me the best service possible. I can't believe that I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning. I highly recommend him for scaredy cats and brave people alike!

It was great
I've seen a number of dentists over the past few years, and Dr. Foxman is by far the best. He is incredibly friendly and is truly there to help you, not to make a quick buck. He is honest and clear in his instruction, and I will definitely be recommending him to my friends and colleagues.

Excellent as always.

Dr. Foxman is extremely nice and makes you loose your fear to the dentist. He is vey professional and the best dentist I've met so far. No doubt I will keep coming back.
Dr. Foxman was very personable and professional. He kept me laughing and at ease throughout my visit, which is important because I am often nervous during dental procedures. He clearly values his patients and I will definitely keep him as my dentist.

He is very professional and gave me lots of good suggestions. He wont push patient to have any procedure they dont need. He would love to share his knowledge to you also. Definitely go back again.

He is hilarious.
Great, as always!
The thing I like most about Dr. Foxman is that he never forces unnecessary treatments. He always explains the risks and benefits and lets you decide for yourself. I'm glad I found him, because other dentists I've been to seem much more pushy!

Great visit as always!
Great visit, as always!
this guy is awesome.

He told me that he can't fix my problem of root canal and that I need to see a specialist. So instead of sending me to the specialist, since I had a bump on the gum, he told met that he will have to work on my teeth first which was a lot of work and was not really bothering me at the moment. He was more concerned not about the tooth which was giving me so much problem but more about how he can fix my other teeth so that he can pocket more money. utterly dissapointed.
Dr. Foxman was fantastic! He was very personable and took a very thorough history. This was only my first visit, but I felt like I trusted his opinion, which was especially nice after having a few dentists who I felt were just trying to do procedures. I'm looking forward to going back to the dentist.

Best dentist in NYC metro area... Im staying with this guy as long as I can! I have recommended him to all of my co-workers also.
Verified patient
Dr. Foxman was very knowledgeable and kind. I have never needed a root canal before, and he explained all of my options up front and explained in detail what needed to be done. I would highly recommend him.
Verified patient
Dr. Foxman is amazing! He has wonderful wit that makes you extremely comfortable. His bedside manner and hospitality is a cut above the others. He is explicit in explaining procedures and what to expect. My experience was awesome and memorable.
Verified patient
He was great. I was a little scared by the building but once you meet with him you feel very relaxed and sure that you are in good hands.
Verified patient
Professional, friendly, efficient.
Terrible visit. To start, the staff/secretaries were rude. I called in advance to be sure that my appointment aloted enough time for a root canal and that my insurance was accepted. He talked to me about his personal life for most of the time, and then told me he had no time for my root canal and wasnt sure that my insurance would be accepted (although I brought paperwork in showing my insurance plan..something that should have been done by the secretaries in advance). He then just referred me to someone else who we weren't sure would accept my insurance. WORST OF ALL...he charged me for the visit...I payed for him doing nothing at all!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!
Verified patient
Wonderful bedside manner. Made me feel very comfortable in the chair and gave recommendations without feeling pressured. Awesome doc and I'm gonna recommend him to my friends!
