“Clean and well kept space. Very busy, but the staff are warm and welcoming. Very glad there was patient privacy in a considerable amount of space and the wait time was not too bad. The appointment was quick and efficient. ”

Most terrible experience I’ve had. I was not seen by the doctor I made an appointment with, and I was not even seen by a doctor. The whole office team was just confused

There are two offices. One in midtown seems small & one of the rooms I went into was a little cluttered with dental materials, dental machines etc. I had to make a second appointment due to the pain the next day.
I went to their Tribeca office which was much nicer. Bigger. Chairs were much more comfortable, the dental rooms were small but very clean. My only draw back is there are too many ppl working there. I suffer from PSTD like symptoms when I see a dentist or oral surgeon. Dr Ma did my procedure & she was wonderful, her bedside manner was gentle & kind & her assistant was very friendly too. However when I went to see the oral surgeon her assistant asked me what I was having done. It struck me as odd she didn’t know. Maybe it’s just me. There are too many unnecessary charges (that shouldn’t be charged out of pocket to the patient) They will tell you what they think, but if you’re stern about what you want they will honor it. Go with the Tribeca office if you have to choose.

My experience with a practitioner at Dr. Ma's office (not Dr. Ma herself) was a nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The practitioner was a horrible communicator, leaving me with an enormous bill and pain that has lasted months. I was told I needed an expensive crown and for weeks after it was implanted, I had pain from the misalignment of my teeth. I went into the practitioner for help. After she shaved it down, I told her my bite still didn't feel right. She then started arguing with me, raising her voice, saying "I've almost shaved the whole crown down, there's almost nothing left! What do you want me to do?!" I told her "I'm not a dentist, so I don't know what you should do, I'm just describing how it feels and asking for your help in alleviating it." She was very unprofessional, a bad communicator, and seemed to be admitting that she had destroyed my expensive crown. Months later, I'm still in pain and have no recourse. I strongly suggest you avoid this practice.

I didn't see the provider I was supposed to. One doctor told me I had a cavity and that I needed to get my wisdom tooth pulled. the hygienist told me I didn't have a cavity that may result and my wisdom tooth being pulled and the office insisted on me getting the tooth pulled. I chose not to but I just feel like that wanted money for services that wasn't needed. Office was clean, most of the staff was pleasant but I will not be returning.

Super easy to check-in. New patient intake was a little long but the dental office was absolutely gorgeous and the process left me feeling refreshed and happy about the services rendered!

Overall great experience. They were very communicative and extremely helpful with instructions. Didn’t see the actual doctor but a substitute was brought who was just as good. Thanks!

Please get a second opinion before moving forward with any of the procedures they recommend!
They told me I had 3 cavities and that one was so bad I needed to get a root canal and a crown instead of a filling. I also had a silver crown that they said needed to be replaced with a ceramic crown (this was accurate). However, they said they needed to do a root canal on that tooth too before replacing the crown. The estimate they gave me was insane and I literally started crying in the office.
I ended up going to a different dentist for a 2nd opinion and they didn't find ANY cavities. One of the "cavities" was actually a filling...The only thing I needed was the crown replacement and when they removed the crown, they found that the tooth structure was perfectly intact and there was no sign of a cavity!
If I hadn't gone to another dentist I would've gotten two root canals on healthy teeth, a crown on a healthy tooth, and two fillings on healthy teeth.
