About Dr. Michael Wells
Dr. Wells was born and raised in Newport Beach, CA. He continued on to the prestigious University of the Pacific where he completed a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Wells has been treating patients in the area for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the world renowned Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Dental Implant Mentor for Nobel Biocare.
Dr. Wells spends countless hours a year on continuing education in order to provide his patients with all of the options available in dentistry today. He loves working with his team and feels that they are great at helping patients understand the importance of maintaining healthy teeth. In cases where teeth cannot be saved or are already missing, Dr. Wells has great pride in knowing that he can replace teeth and have people smiling and chewing with confidence again. As Dr. Wells says, “We love caring for and serving our neighbors.”
When not in the office, Dr. Wells’ interests include playing sports with his kids. They particularly love football, wakeboarding and fishing.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Digital Smiles dentist office three weeks ago due to severe pain in my mouth.
Upon entering the office, I was immediately struck by its unkempt appearance. The lack of cleanliness was alarming, and it made me question the hygiene standards of the establishment.
My ordeal continued when I met the dentist. Not only was the doctor unorganized, but their lack of professionalism was evident from the start. Despite my obvious discomfort and the severity of my condition, the dentist proceeded to pull my wisdom tooth without even considering prescribing antibiotics. This decision proved to be disastrous.
Within a short period, I developed a major infection, plunging me into excruciating pain. The agony I endured was unbearable, and it all stemmed from the negligent treatment I received at Digital Smiles. It's appalling that a supposed healthcare provider could be so callous and indifferent to their patients' well-being.
