About Dr. Michelle Schwartz

We welcome all patients to schedule; please note we do not participate with Medicaid or Medicare plans. Dr. Schwartz graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans before earning her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Dentistry. Following dental school, she worked at the UIC College of Dentistry in the oral medicine and diagnosis clinic and the Ryan White HIV clinic. Dr. Schwartz stays up to date on advances in dental techniques and technologies with continuing education courses and has completed numerous postgraduate courses in restorative dentistry. She’s also certified in Invisalign® and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. In her practice, Dr. Schwartz approaches dentistry holistically, caring for the whole person in addition to their smile. She believes that our health affects our bodies and vice versa, and seeks to optimize her patients’ well-being in all regards. She enjoys hearing her patients’ unique stories and experiences, and developing bonds that go beyond patient and provider. She’s most inspired by seeing patients post-treatment who learned to take pride in their dental health. In her spare time, Dr. Schwartz enjoys traveling with her husband and reading biographies. She has three border collies and competes with them in agility.
