“My experience was awesome. My nerves were being trashed by life and a toothache. While waiting the few days to be seen I studied up on what to expect. When meeting with the doctor he explained everything down to the step with a video so I could visualize what he would be doing. The doctor and staff answered all of my questions and concerns. I believe they really care about the treatment their patients receive. All the prices were broken down and communication was easy. I’ll be going back on a regular and would recommend doctor Abady to everyone.”

Mielad Abady, DDS
Dr. Mielad Abady is a general dentist that takes great pride in providing state of the art comprehensive dental care to his patients. Dr. Abady is a Virginia native who graduated with honors from George Mason University with a bachelors in Biology. Soon after he began his journey at Howard University College of Dentistry where he graduated in the top 3% of his graduating class. He was a recipient of multiple awards during his time in dental school which reflects his dedication to the dental field. Upon graduation he completed a General Practice Residency/ Oral surgery Fellowship in Manhattan New York at Mount Sinai Hospital Centers. He received extensive training in the areas of implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, periodontal surgery, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Abady is a member of numerous dental associations including the
American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. With a true commitment to advanced education, he actively participates in study clubs and continuing education courses in an effort to provide the best possible care for his patients. Additionally, Dr. Abady’s dental implants and cosmetic veneers are praised among his patients and he looks forward to giving you an enhanced smile.
Dr. Abady has also dedicated time in his professional career to care for
the less fortunate both abroad and locally. Along with a team, Dr. Abady
provided essential dental care and treated life threatening dental
conditions for over 3,000 people both in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. Dr. Abady enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and is an automotive enthusiast.

So, I’m a new patient, here, at VA Modern Dentistry and I feel safe and at home. Just coming off a traumatizing dental experience I was afraid to visit the dentist again. And this is coming from someone who made sure to attend their twice a year visits. But I let go of fear and came here. Heidie is ammmazing. So funny and gentle and kind and understanding. My family and I love Dr. Abady and Virginia Modern Dentistry. We highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a new dental clinic. The staff is very nice and Dr. Abady makes the visit personable. He explains the care plan of the visit in great detail. The front staff is very helpful to go over the insurance spending and make scheduling very easy. Dr. Abady has a great team in such a great office!

Dr. Abady build a great team of professionals. Great experience, first visit, explained everything that he was doing, gave me info so I could make the right decision on the correct treatment. Every person working at this dental office are the BEST. They are all friendly and professional and make you feel like they care. Im the lucky one for finding the best dentist in the area. Highly recommend.
