About Dr. Mimi Yang
In her youth, Mimi Yang feared visits to the dentist.
So Dr. Mimi Yang's passion as a dentist has a recurring theme: to do everything she can to make dental care as pleasant as possible for kids of all ages.
Mimi Yang enrolled in the New York University College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003.
Since then, Dr. Yang has been honored to serve the people of Southern California with their dental needs.
An achievement high on Dr. Yang's "bucket list" is to run a marathon, so her hobbies of swimming and running are preparing her for that goal.

I actually was 30 minutes late due to my phone being set back 1 hour and she still took me in and was super nice!
I get nervous about dentist including not knowing what my pay will be. She immediately told me my out of pocket before I even started which I highly appreciated. Makes me less nervous knowing how much I’ll have to pay.

Mimi is an amazing dentist! She is exceptionally clear and professional. Her appointments are fully booked and I'm so lucky to have snagged an appointment. Despite that, I did not see another patient during my entire time there -- she takes COVID precautions very seriously (N95s and visors were on point) and leaves time between appointments to clean. She paid full attention to me throughout the process and was extremely responsive by phone. I feel incredibly safe and appreciative to be treated by her.
I actually came to her for a second opinion, because the first dentist I went to was behaving suspiciously. After my cleaning, I realized the first dentist had been giving incorrect periodontal numbers and pushing for procedures I didn't need!
In these challenging times, I have the utmost gratitude towards Mimi. And I do not give high praise easily. Mimi however is astounding: she sincerely cares for her patients and is the epitome of professionalism. I believe that authentic and caring professionals like her are truly the invisible, genuine heroes of our society.

I was aprehensive in having to go to the Dentist because I had several health problems and surgeries over the years and was not able to see a Dentist. I was very impressed with her friendliness and concern for me. She explained everything to me in detail and set me at ease right away. I have not had a Dentist in the past who has been great as Dr. Yang

This was my first dental appointment in some time. Dr. Yang was able to do an exam and full cleaning in 45 minutes. I was quite surprised by her speed, efficiency, and thoroughness. I'd gladly recommend her to anyone.

whenever she told me to do something, she would always say it very nicely. She didn't rush through anything but carefully did my fillings to make sure they were done in the best way.
