Dr. Abbas Khan was born in Delhi, India. At the age of 16, he began preparing for his dental exam. He cleared one of the most prestigious examinations at Aligarh Muslim University and earned his B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2011. He was a very dedicated student, graduating at the top of his class and the university with seven gold medals, including the President's Medal of Honor in Public Health Dentistry. After obtaining his diploma, he was offered an associate professor position at his dental school. Growing up in India, he witnessed the country's growth as an industrial nation, which brought prosperity, education, and world-class medical care. Unfortunately, these benefits were limited to only a select few living in major cities and industrial hubs. Dr. Khan continued practicing dentistry by organizing dental camps and outreach programs offering free dental exams for socially deprived communities in Baltimore. He was also involved with the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins (SKCC) in designing treatment protocols for oral cancers. To further refine his dental skills, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2017. He was among the top of his class and made the Dean's List. He received the highest marks in Pharmacology, achieving a record-breaking 100% in the course, as well as the highest marks in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Khan is an avid skier and cyclist who loves playing basketball and soccer. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and spending quality time with friends and family.
