About Dr. Mohit Patel
Dr. Mohit Patel has been living in the Bellerose, Floral Park area for over 22 years. He has an extensive educational background extending from India, Australia and the U.S.A which not only gives him the vision to provide different treatment options but also understanding different cultural needs and expectations.
After graduating from one of the top dental schools in Mumbai, India Dr. Patel had the opportunity to work with world renowned Orthodontist (Dr. Mahoney) in Sydney, Australia. Once Dr. Patel and his family moved to New York, he attended New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his Dental Degree. At NYU he graduated with Honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Patel continued his post doctorate dental education with an additional three-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University College of Dentistry.
In conjunction with his residency, Dr. Patel also completed a one-year clinical fellowship program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics for international residents at the New York University College of Dentistry.
One of Dr. Patel’s highest honors came when he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
