Dr. Molly McMahon is passionate about creating beautiful and functional smiles for patients of all ages! A smile you are happy with is so important for confidence! She feels that when you are confident you are more likely to move forward with opportunities – not back away from them. She experienced this for herself when she had braces as a teen and she loves seeing the transformations of her patients as they embark on their orthodontic journey. After college, she returned to her home state where she graduated from The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. She was then accepted as one of 6 residents into the highly competitive orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota. She earned a certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. McMahon has been working as an orthodontist in private practice in the Twin Cities since 2018 and decided to start Anchored Orthodontics so she could serve the families of her hometown, Minnetonka, and the surrounding communities. As a lifelong learner, Dr. McMahon loves going to orthodontic conferences and learning new techniques and technologies. She believes having a strong foundation of the fundamentals of orthodontics combined with embracing exciting technological advances allows her to craft the custom smiles her patients deserve. Dr. McMahon lives with her husband Kevin, son Rory, and their two Great Danes Finley and Gigi in Minnetonka.
