Even better, they found a cavity behind my retainer and Dr. A, their general dentist, had time to fix it right then and there. Everyone at the office was friendly. About Dr. Mychi Nguyen
Dr. Mychi Nguyen is a board-certified orthodontist practicing in New York City. She grew up in Southern California and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. After discovering her passion for orthodontics, she relocated to New York City to complete her postdoctoral orthodontic training at NYU.
Dr. Mychi takes pride in her work and utilizes the latest techniques and technology when treating her patients. She has a strong research background and has published her work in several research journals. Her research has earned her awards nationally and internationally. To maintain clinical excellence, she continues to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in orthodontics by attending dental conferences throughout the year.
Dr. Mychi enjoys working closely with patients to understand and address their unique concerns. She firmly believes that optimal outcomes arise not only from the doctor's expertise but also from integrating each patient's individual preferences.
