Practicing for more than 20 years, Dr. Nadia Iqbal has maintained the goal of helping patients in need of dental care and providing them comfort through this service. In starting her own practice, she stands by this same mission. With this, she hopes to provide a comfortable atmosphere at Ypsilanti Dental Group and treat everyone with compassion and care.
Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Iqbal moved on to Ann Arbor, MI for college. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a four year program for her DDS degree. For the next 6 years, she was hired in as an Associate Dentist for her professor from UM Dental School who specialized in fixed prosthodontics. In addition, she worked in non-profit Medicaid clinics as well as working in Mobile Dentistry where she provided dental care for children at their schools. She also had the experience of going to nursing home environments to provide dental care for those elderly patients unable to get to the dentist.
In Dr. Iqbal’s career, she has been a member of the American Dental Association and Francis B. Vedder Society. She has also had the honor to be awarded amongst “America’s Top Dentists.”
Currently Dr. Iqbal holds a faculty position at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she teaches and mentors the dental students. This position is at the UM Veterans clinic- a facility that provides dental care to our veterans.
In her free time, Dr. Iqbal fully occupies herself with family and friends. She truly enjoys being a wife and a mother of four beautiful kids. Ypsilanti Dental Group would not have been the same without their input and insight. Dr. Iqbal and her family welcome yours to Ypsilanti Dental Group.

Highly recommend this office. They were able to get me in quickly for a consultation and subsequent treatment appointments. Dr Iqbal has a very calming personality and explained in detail the dental treatment that I needed.

I highly recommend Ypsilanti Dental Group to anyone that is looking for a new dental home for their entire family. The office is brand new and looks amazing. The dentist, hygienist, and front desk are all awesome. They are conveniently located in the Ypsilanti area and the office is easily accessible with plenty of parking.

Dr. Iqbal has been the dentist for my kids for years. They are adults now. She’s got the rare combination of skill, experience, wisdom, and compassion. She takes time with each patient. The staff is kind and helpful. In the rare instance we have needed a quicker appointment (ie. College kids who forget to make appointments)- she’s always managed to get them in. We won’t go anywhere else!

When I first walked in I couldn't believe I was at a dental office. From the comfy chairs to the beautiful wall paint and color schemes I thought I was at a spa. Definitely a warm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and dentist were great. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new dentist in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area.
