About Dr. Nafys Samandari
Dr. Nafys Samandari (Dr. Sam) completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa Dental School. He completed a hospital residency at the University of Iowa Hospital. After his residency, he received further training both stateside and overseas in implantology, prosthetics, endodontics, orthodontics, and full mouth reconstructions.
Dr. Sam has been practicing in the Phoenix valley for over 25 years and has had his private practice in Scottsdale for 23 years. Dr. Sam is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including implant procedures, root canal therapies, and wisdom teeth extractions. He is a patient-centered provider, focusing on creating trusting relationships by providing excellence in care. Dr. Sam has always been a patient advocate and is committed to the progress of his profession.
He has served his fellow dentists through the American Dental Association at the national, state, and regional levels. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of State for the Arizona Dental Association and as a board member of the American Dental Association Business Enterprises.
He strongly believes in giving back to his community and his profession. He was a founding member and has continued to serve on the well-known Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy since its inception in 2010. He is an inventor and creator of several oral health products.
Dr. Sam is a native of East Africa – Tanzania - and enjoys the great outdoors. He and his wife love to travel and experience other cultures. He is blessed with two amazing children and two fur babies.

I have no comment on my visit because they called me Friday 23rd to cancel my appointment, stating they're offices were closed Saturday 24th. News to me since there were 8 appointments available when I booked mine for 11;00a.m. Saturday the 24th, they also e-mailed two days earlier to verify date and time, switching Dr. Han (my Dentist) for someone I don't know. It gets better- they had me as a teeth cleaning, well I have denture implants. The appointment was to replace the locators! Can I charge them $50.00 for canceling my appointment with only one day notice! Oh by the way they wouldn't of been able to treat me that Saturday anyway because they're lab assistant wouldn't be there to fulfill my denture services, they only do that on Tuesdays and Fridays. So I would have waisted my time showing up. I don't know how many times I can say I'm not a new patient! One more thing, If your going to use a online services for appointments paperwork maybe you should read the information entered!

The Dentist I booked with was not the dentist that worked on me. The financial advisor whom was very annoying while going over my 3 large monthly payments kept smacking me in the arm saying you can do it, it's an investment...every time she spoke she smacked my upper arm at least 10 times...I about smacked her back. I was there to get my teeth fixed yeah...but the cost with insurance was way more than I had expected...and again she kept smacking me in the arm saying you can do it! The highlight of my visit was Mary the assistant dentist who got me out of a very dark mood. Mary was the BEST!
