About Dr. Nam Phan

My name is Dr. Nam Phan and I have been practicing dentistry since 2009. After graduating from Boston University Dental School, I completed a 12-month residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, providing general anesthesia to in-patient, outpatient and emergency patients requiring medical treatment. I subsequently became a faculty member at the University of Las Vegas Nevada Dental School, training graduate students in the skills and art of oral surgery. With an advanced education in Orthodontics, Implants, Oral Surgery, Cosmetics, Sleep Apnea and Anesthesia, I am able to provide a wide range of dentistry to patients as a whole. I maintain a philosophy of building long-term relationships through excellence in customer care. My philosophy revolves around “Selflessness, Trustworthiness and Excellence”. In my practice, it has given me great satisfaction to successfully administer sedation for patients with dental fear, perform complicated dental procedures, and help to improve patients’ quality of life. During my free time, I work with a group of doctors who provide dental services to underserved areas in need of medical care. This is something that is highly beneficial for both patients and practitioners, allowing practitioners to give back to the community. I have also developed a system to cultivate the patient-practitioner relationship and successfully address patient driven concerns. I have found that we are better equipped to serve our patients when we understand their goals and can provide realistic expectations. Of note, I also participate in a system through HCCRCP (Health Care Cost Re-Coup Program) which allows patients to enjoy all aspects of healthcare at virtually no cost.
