Dr. Namrata Kaur graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in May 2000. She has been in private practice for the last 18 years. Dr. Kaur worked in a group practice for 5 years before starting her own private practice in Fairfax, in order to provide more personalized care and attention to all of her patients.
Dr Kaur was Awarded One of America's Top Dentists 2010 through 2016 by Consumer Research Council of America, a non profit organization based in Wash DC.
Dr. Kaur is a certified Invisalign provider and Six month smile provider. In addition, Dr. Kaur has a wide range of experience in different areas of Dentistry from Emergency, to Preventive and Cosmetic (porcelain veneers, bonding and tooth colored fillings) to Endodontics (root canals) and Restorative (Crown and Bridge). We want all of our patients to know Dr. Kaur is available to treat dental emergencies! Don't hesitate, call us as soon as possible!

Dr. Namrata and Ashley were amazing! They were extremely kind, and they were very thorough in both the exam and discussing the treatment plan with me. I’m someone who often needs a moment to process information before I develop any questions, and they were very accommodating. They printed out all of the information I needed, and walked through different payment plans that would make treatment more affordable. 12/10 would recommend!

The doctor was very kind and sweet. She was very knowledgeable, informative, supportive, and motivating. She helped me feel comfortable with getting work done that I’ve previously felt uncomfortable to do. The best thing about her was the lack of sugarcoating, she was very straight to the point and blunt when it mattered. Something I care for very much when it comes to my health and wellbeing.

While the staff are so cute and nice the doctors there make me feel like they know ME and take my care personally. I’ve seen them for a few months now and I’ve recommended them countless times. The rooms are a bit small but they have tvs for you to look at and she even let me put my headphones in.

I recently had an appointment for a dental cleaning and exam. I was seen on-time and first taken back to have a panoramic xray. The xray tech had difficulty adjusting the machine to my height, and while attempting to adjust the machine, she accidentally bumped me in the face with the xray machine for which she apologized, and I understood. I was then taken back for bite wing xrays, and the tech forgot to put the lead vest on my chest prior to shooting the films. When she reviewed the films and found that she needed to reshoot both sides, I had to ask for lead. I was then taken for my cleaning. The hygienist began by polishing my teeth which took about 2 min. (no scraping, flossing, or rinsing) and then the dentist examined my teeth while quickly scaling for tartar. I believe my cleaning lasted a grand total of 5-6 min. It felt like a much less thorough cleaning than what I've had in the past, and the entire appt felt very disjointed and chaotic. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

Dr. Kaur is a great Dentist and I am always confident taking my teenage son there for his regular checkups and dental maintenance. This time we also had a consult for invisalign since he might need braces. Dr. Kaur took a 3D scan of his mouth and explained clearly how invisalign would benefit him. She was also patient with our many questions ! We will be definitely going back once the invisalign analysis is back from the lab.

I hadn’t been inside of a dentist office in years. And going here made me not want to come back. The communication wasn’t the best. There should be more communication of what is happening. Like entering a room introductions and a proper understanding of what is the issue. I was told I needed surgery and that was that. I prefer to get a better and proper walk through for my appt.

You know, this was the only dentist that was available for the 2 day-notice appointment I was in search for, and I am not sure why. Fast, friendly, and wise staff. Makes you feel right at home. Start booking this place up - and if you are worried about the price, they go out of their way to work with you!

This is a great office with a very convenient location. The receptionist is so nice and friendly and made me feel at home right away. They were also kind in reassuring me (a very nervous patient), worked with me to find a time that fit my schedule, and did a great job with my deep cleaning.
Also noted that they take a lot of preventative measures for COVID-19 which is really good.
