About Dr. Narissa Ross
Dr. Narissa Ross is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist from Selma, Alabama, who relocated to Washington, D.C., in January 2025. She brings years of experience in providing exceptional patient-centered dental care and is committed to ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of treatment in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Dr. Ross earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She further honed her skills through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at NYU Langone Medical Center. Her extensive training and experience enable her to perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative treatments, cosmetic procedures, and complex oral surgeries.
Before joining the team at Dental Serenity DC, Dr. Ross worked as a general dentist in the Madison, AL area where she treated both scheduled and emergency patients, educated them on preventative care, and developed comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and provided Teledentist services conducting virtual consultations for patients in need of emergent dental care.
Dr. Ross is certified in Invisalign and dental implants, and she is skilled in managing patients with dental anxiety and complex medical histories. Her strong communication skills and compassionate approach help her build lasting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout their dental journey.
In her free time, Dr. Ross is actively involved in community outreach and professional development, participating in programs such as the PowHERful NYC Enrichment Conference and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Program.

My experience was great. Definitely will be back. Ms. Devin did an awesome job cleaning my teeth, explained each part of the process, and suggested ways to improve my teeth and gum care. Dr. Ross was very nice and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This was my first visit to the practice and I am happy to say I've found my new dentist! Cannot overstate how warm and welcoming the staff were, the cleaning was done expertly, and the office is very clean and bright. Highly recommend the team at Serenity!
