Whether she is helping rid your pain or enhancing your healthy smile, Dr. Waseem believes that making you comfortable is the most important aspect in providing the best dental care. She takes pride in her gentle approach and is committed to taking the time to get to know you while also listening to your concerns and learning about your past dental experiences. Education Always interested in dentistry, it was while shadowing and interning at local dental practices that Dr. Waseem knew that a career as a dentist was a perfect way to combine her love of art and science. She completed her dental training at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and a general practice residency program at the competitive North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. In The Community Dr. Waseem enjoys helping those in need. She regularly volunteers in soup kitchens and clothing drives for the underprivileged in developing countries. Closer to home, she has participated in outreach efforts in underserved rural towns in Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee in coordination with Missions of Mercy & Remote Area of Medical Volunteer Corps. Dr. Waseem grew up in NYC and settled into NJ after she was married. She enjoys reading, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with her family and friends.
