About Dr. Neil Finn
As our patient, you will receive the highest quality of Periodontal care in a convenient setting. We pride ourselves in listening to the patient carefully and recognizing that every patient is different while providing a gentle touch. The prospect of Periodontal treatment can be overwhelming but be assured that Dr Finn is always accessible to you via email or phone.
We specialize in comprehensive periodontal care including non-surgical and surgical treatment of 'gum' disease, regenerating gums over exposed root surfaces, addressing a 'gummy' smile, complex tooth extractions and the placement of dental implants. We do not do caps and fillings, but we work with some of the best general dentists in NY.
Dr. Finn graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts and then moved to New York where he served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Cornell affiliated Sadick Clinical Research Group on Park Avenue. During his time there, his research focus was on the role of lasers and other agents in the field of cosmetic dermatology. Dr Finn has co-authored several papers and has liaised with the FDA to help gain approval for medical lasers and other devices in the US.
Dr. Finn graduated from NYU where he finished in the top 10 of his class and was subsequently elected into the national dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also is a past recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology Award for Outstanding Achievements in Periodontics. Dr Finn completed his post-graduate training in Periodontics at NYU in the prestigious Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

Dental visits have always been such a stressful and traumatic process for me because of all.my experiences to a point that I just put them off and hoped for the best. I've never been to a periodontist before, and I hadn't been to a dentist or had a cleaning in 10 years! Dr. Finn was great, he not only "knows his stuff," he also is friendly, personable and GENTLE. I felt great when I left because Dr. Finn said that, for someone who hadn't been to a dentist or for a cleaning in years, my gums were basically in good shape. Dr Neil Finn is friendly, gentle and professional. His supporting staff were equally nice and made me feel very welcome. This was my first periodontal cleaning.
Dr Finn is the best. He communicated with me right from the start from scheduling a consultation, walking me through the treatment plan, and getting an EOB from my insurance company so that I knew exactly where I stood before the treatment.
I was nervous going into the procedure and seeing a Periodontist for the first time but Dr Finn made sure I was comfortable and explained everything he was doing and made sure I was feeling no pain.
I would highly recommend him! A+++++++
