About Dr. Nelly Shteynberg
Dr. Nelly Shteynberg earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. After graduating dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Lynn Community Health Center through NYU Langone Medical AEGD program.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Nelly E. Shteynberg at the age of 12 joined her father and uncle in their dental lab, where she helped create dental restorations for patients. She worked in the lab as well as in the dental office throughout high school and developed a passion for dentistry and exemplary pride in her work.
Dr. Nelly Shteynberg enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry as well as working with patients of all ages. She lives in Malden. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, yoga and exploring Boston and its heritage, culture and restaurants.

Dr. Nelly is fantastic! I am always nervous to go to the dentist but Dr. Nelly makes each visit comfortable and listens to any concern that I have. I am very satisfied with all the dental work I got at Harborside Dental since it opened. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist and want great care.

Dr Nelly brings a whole new perspective to the concept of patient-friendly dentist. Her bedside manner is distinct, as she is friendly, welcoming, approachable, not intimidating and informative/educational. Her clinical acumen and attention to detail is tremendous. Her approach is gentle and kind. She goes against every notion of being scared or anxious about having dentist appointments. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to switch dental providers!

Major dental work is unpleasant. Dr Sheteynberg put my anxiety at ease. She explained everything and was sensitive to making sure I was comfortable during my procedure. Really appreciated how attentive she was. Everyone I met at Harborside was so kind.
