About Dr. Neni Shriver
With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Shriver is committed to making her patients feel good, self-confident, important, and empowered. She offers a variety of cosmetic and general dental treatments such as Minimal Dentistry which includes partial crowns or onlays and inlays to preserve healthy tooth structures as much as possible, Non IV Oral Conscious sedation where patient would be very relax and eliminate the high anxiety, wisdom teeth removals, root canals treatment, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, bridges, fillings, teeth whitening. Dr. Shriver uses state-of-the-art technology and the latest techniques to provide her patients with the highest degree of quality care.
Dr. Shriver received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Indonesia. She then attended UCLA for advanced cosmetic dentistry and preparation for licensing in California. In addition to her formal education, Dr. Shriver has completed an impressive variety of continuing education courses, including Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry at UCLA, Periodontal Surgery at the University of Southern California, Implant Dentistry at the California Implant Institute, and Endodontics at Loma Linda University.
In her spare time, she enjoys hot yoga, kickboxing, hiking, gardening, and trying new recipes. Dr. Shriver looks forward to helping her patients improve their smiles and oral health.

Its a small 3 person office. Not well organized and under prepared for the appointment scheduled for my daughter and me. I provided insurance info in advance, when I scheduled the appointment but it did not appear that it was reviewed before my arrival. I even called the morning before my appointment to confirm that all was well. The front desk confirmed, yes. The customer service from the front desk and the dentist was oddly offensive when I was surprised that they had not checked my insurance, prior to my arrival and even after begining to prepare for the work. I insisted on viewing a treatment plan and numbers before treatment, considering.
There were a few concerns with this ofc but the most grievous was the dentist recommending braces, in spite of viewing my class 3 maloclussion which requires surgery to correct. She wasn't aware that I had met with specialist Who stated braces would NOT correct my underbite

This was truly one of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked in and spoke with Maria, the receptionist, I was immediately welcomed warmly and checked in. Ellie guided me to my room and made me feel very comfortable and situated! Lastly, Dr. Shriver was incredible, clearly walking me through everything that was going on and explaining my next steps thoroughly. Lastly, this place was very affordable and they give you the treatments that are necessary for your best help, never overcharging. I’m looking forward to having Dr. Shriverand her team as my new dentist office for the rest of my time in San Diego! Thank you all! ??

I found Dr. Shriver on Zocdoc with an emergency tooth crack. I saw that she had an appointment available for the same day and took it. As soon as I enter the doctor’s offices, I was greeted with smiles and kindness. The doctor was very informative and explained all of the procedures I would need. She also recognized that I was not prepared for a procedure today, so gave me the opportunity to go home and reschedule as I mentally prepare. All of the staff have been amazing and honestly made my fear of the dentist less terrifying. I know it’s very important to have a primary dentist and I think I have found mine.

I am very impressed with Dr. Shriver and her whole office. We just moved to San Diego and knew it was going to be taking a risk trying someone new without a referral from a friend, but everything about the visit was great. Billing was easy, Dr. Shriver was very thorough and made sure to explain everything so I could understand. 10/10! So glad we found this provider!

Best dentist appointment I’ve ever had by far! Dr. Shriver took lots of time going through and testing each tooth. She went through each issue I had with detailed explanations. The dental cleaning was also a very comfortable experience. Both the doctor and the office staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Shriver!

My experience at this office was terrible start to finish. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this is necessary. Both the hygienist and Dr. Shriver multiple times used the computer (incredible germ infested environment) and multiple other pieces of dirty office equipment with their gloves on and continued to work on me without changing their gloves. Dr. Shriver was extremely rude to her hygienist the entirety of the appointment and it was viscerally uncomfortable. Dr. Shriver went on to continue using her unsterile gloves in my mouth while arguing with me about my OWN medical history. I would not recommend this office to anyone to save both their mouths from an infection and their hearts from a hostile work environment.

I needed a dentist and my last dentist said it would be February before I could get in. I just happened to see a mailer with ZocDoc and uploaded the app. I found Dr. Shriver who is very close to my home. I was able to book an appt. right away and she allayed my fears and carefully explained my options and also what my insurance covered and what I was responsible for. I had some apprehension because I have relied on friends for referrals in the past, but she was great and now I will refer friends.

I gave dr shriver a run for her money. I haven’t been to the dentist in a while and I’m irrationally afraid of the doctor and dentist so I’m probably one of the worst patients to have.
I was very hesitant at first but she really listened to me and made me feel as comfortable as possible. She was the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Thank you dr shriver (and I’m sorry haha) and thank you to the woman working the front desk. I forget her name (I’m terrible with names and I was stressed) but she was amazing too!
