About Dr. Nicole Oparaeke

Dr. Nicole Oparaeke grew up in Texas and wanted to be a dentist ever since middle school (strange, I know!). She then began to travel around the country for higher education at multiple Ivy League institutions. Dr. Oparaeke earned her dental degree at Harvard University – the most selective dental school in the United States. During her time in dental school, Dr. Oparaeke decided to turn her passion for working with kids into her career. She left her snow boots behind and completed a pediatric dental residency at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego with NYU Langone Health. After getting married and working as a board certified pediatric dentist in California and Michigan, Dr. Oparaeke now calls Chicago home. Her husband is a Chicago native and together they enjoy exploring the great city of Chicago, going to church, playing games, and eating Ricobene’s with their children. Dr. Oparaeke is an active member of numerous national and local societies including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. Her desire to help children achieve their healthiest smile and foster a delightful, positive experience with their oral health gives Dr. Oparaeke the most fulfilling career she can imagine.
