About Dr. Nida Akhter
Dr. Nida Akhter earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Benedictine University in 2010. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014, from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Akhter is proficient in restorative, endodontic, surgical, and cosmetic procedures. She has always committed to excellent patient care and always strives to make her patients feel at ease in her chair. Apart from being active in the community she also enjoys reading, cooking, tennis, and enjoying the outdoors.

I had scheduled just a normal cleaning but since I had such poor hygiene with my teeth and had not gone back for so long I had to get a lot of work done. Dr. Nida was just so kind, patient, and just an overall pleasure to be around and just made me feel so safe and welcomed. Normally I don’t like dentist but she truly made me feel so confident in that this would be the best to keep my teeth and gums better and make my already beautiful smile even better. I also had some financial problems before and the office staff really gave me some good options so that I wouldn’t have to pay all at once and worry about my current financial state taking a turn for the worst. Truly a once in a lifetime dentist to find hopefully I can have her as my dentist for as long as I am living and breathing. If you happen upon this review Dr. Nida just know you’ve made a big impact on my life that I will never forget and will forever be indebted to you for your kindness and hospitality.

Dr. Nida was very kind as well as all of the other staff. She talked me through every step to make me feel comfortable. She is very transparent, yet comforting. I would definetely recommend visiting her!
