About Dr. Nisha Patel

We are excited to welcome Dr. Nisha Patel to Marina Grins Dental! Originally from Southern California, Dr. Patel earned her doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She began her career managing a free clinic at UC San Diego, which inspired her passion for serving underserved communities. During dental school, she coordinated the St. Vincent de Paul Free Clinic Project in Detroit, expanding access to care. After graduating, Dr. Patel gained experience practicing with her father in California before transitioning to community clinics and later specializing in comprehensive and Invisalign care in West Los Angeles. With over a decade of experience, she focuses on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and receives tailored, high-quality care. Dr. Patel stays current with continuing education and is a member of the ADA, CDA, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area, hiking, cooking, and discovering new restaurants. Feel free to share your favorite spots with her!

Dr. Patel has such a gentle, kind approach that really made my first dental visit easy and comfortable. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and guided me in creating a treatment plan that worked for me. I highly recommend booking with her!

Mind blowing experience! Much different from my other experiences! Dr. Patel was super sweet! Unlike other dentists she said they are going to keep an eye on some of the smaller cavities and I don’t need to get fillings for them right now! She was so calm and made me less anxious! Love them!
