Dr. Norbert Camacho is a general dentist in South Florida & founding owner of Dental World Miami in Brickell. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and completed an intensive, highly recognized Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with in St. Petersburg, FL. Trained by some of the best dentists and specialists in the state, Dr. Camacho now offers his professional expertise in South Florida. In addition to being a member of multiple national & local dental societies, Dr. Camacho has achieved the fellowship designation with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) for his successful experience in implantology.

the office did no honor the appointment despite the fact they called me 3 days ahead to confirm my insurance coverage.
the personnel said it was my fault and that I had not confirmed the appointment.
there was no supervisor and no interest in rescheduling me.

Overall a great experience. The whole team was very friendly and knowledgeable. They do a very thorough new patient exam and show/explain everything to you. Only complaint was the wait time after the cleaning for the dentist and then after the exam for the treatment coordinator were both long.

Overall I’m satisfied with the service provided here and I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Norberto.
However, there are a few things that they can improve.
1st. When a patient comes to his appointment, I accept that the service will be provide only to that person, not shared between 3 or even 4 patients at the same time. The biggest downside is that Dr. Norberto works alone, so he starts working with 3 people simultaneously. Which could affect his work quality.
2nd. Orthodontic Assistants are poorly trained. They always forget to bring something, they drop things quiet often. Besides, when they help doctor, they make it so uncomfortable and even painful, so you start doubting their professionalism.
3rd. I recommend them to make rooms separate, otherwise it feels like I’m somewhere on a bus station.

I really did not enjoy my experience with Dr Camacho, to the point where I've switched back to my old dentist, even though he's literally 1000 miles away, and I had already pre-paid for a second visit to Dr Camacho. I haven't been back since my first visit last year.
The visit was extremely inefficient, taking significantly longer than it should have. The front desk signed me up for a plan I didn't ask for, and then pressured me to agree to it. Then, they scheduled me for a follow-up visit, which they canceled a couple of days ahead of time. THEN, they auto signed me up for an appointment on a day I was out of town, which I told them to cancel. They didn't, and texted me afterwards to ask why I no-showed for an appointment I didn't make. I was auto registered for yet another appointment several months later that I canceled.
It was extremely unpleasant to deal with everyone at this office. They were pushy trying to sell me stuff, they're disorganized when it comes to making appointments, and I didn't feel like the doctor had my best interests in mind. Absolutely cannot recommend.

I received a cleaning service from Jose, had a fantastic experience. He's very patient, caring and knowledgeable. The whole process was very comfortable, and loved he explained everything clearly to me before proceeding. Staff at the reception was great too, was willing to answer all my questions (before and during the appointment) and very understanding. Very modern and chill clinic as well.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Camacho. First, they called me if I would like to come early to the appointment. I waited no longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room and most of that time was filling out the required paper work. The hygienist was very professional. The office has state of the art equipment.
Secondly, I have never been to a dentist that explains to me everything I need to know about my oral health. Dr. Camacho took his time to explain the concerns about my teeth when any other dentist would just do a quick check and leave.
Thirdly, Dr. Camacho advise me that I didn’t have to take off my bottom wisdom teeth which is incredible!! Any other doctor would have told me to take out all 4!

My experience at Dr. Camacho's office has been a disaster. After waiting weeks for an implant, the dental assist actually dropped the tooth on the floor so I had to wait several more weeks for another tooth.
The woman in charge of managing finances there is shockingly incompetent. I was overcharged and was given several different price quotes of the same treatment. The bonding that they did for me came out in just a few months despite having had a prior bonding on that same tooth which lasted for years. The office refused to put a new bonding on if I didn't pay again for the initial bonding.
What is most shocking is that someone with the educational pedigree like Dr. Camacho could run such a Micky Mouse operations.
AVOID this office. There are far better options in Brickell.

Dr. Camacho was amazing as was each and every one of his staff members. He was professional and his office is equipped with the latest technology...I had a crown and he was able to prep my tooth as well as make the final crown in the same day! I also had a filling and he made sure it was painless. A couple of weeks prior I had a cleaning by one of his staff and she was brilliant. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! Everyone on Dr. Camacho's team is knowledgeable and highly professional. The office is beautiful with highly efficient technology. Dr. Camacho spends time with each patient, is constantly checking in on staff and ensuring a good work flow. He's very friendly, easy to talk to and has great taste in music.
