About Dr. Norma Gomez

Dr. Norma Gomez has been practicing dentistry since 1987, when she graduated from the prestigious University of Cartagena with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She then moved to Brazil to practice General Dentistry and studied Interceptive Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics. In 1997, she earned a Specialist in Orthodontics degree at Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, in Mexico. To further advance professionally, she moved to the United States where she validated her studies and obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery at New York University. Looking for a suburban environment, she moved to beautiful Connecticut in 2005, where she has been successfully practicing dentistry and orthodontics while continuing to advance her knowledge by being an active participant in numerous dental societies and seminars. Dr. Gomez believes in a comprehensive approach to oral health, applying the knowledge of functional development, orthodontics, and its ability to restore teeth to their natural position and aesthetics as a driving force for treatment. She believes that health is beauty and it goes hand-in-hand with self-confidence. Dr. Gomez loves road cycling, traveling, cooking and gardening.
