About Dr. Oksana Yakubova
Dr. Oksana Yakubova graduated from New York University’s College of Dentistry in 2002 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She completed her residency in General Dentistry at NYU and further advanced her training through a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYUCD. Dr. Yakubova is currently a part-time attending dentist at Bellevue Hospital in the Adult Dental Department. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Yakubova has nearly a decade of experience in various dental procedures, including:
- Placing and restoring implants
- Managing implant failures and complications
- Working with different implant systems such as Zimmer, 3I, Nobel Biocare, IMTEC, Lifecore, Branemark, and ImplantDirect, both internal and external hex
- Full-mouth reconstruction
- Implant-supported overdentures
To ensure her patients receive expert care, she collaborates closely with oral surgeons on cases requiring extensive bone graft procedures. Dr. Yakubova has broad experience across many phases of dentistry, including root canal treatments and retreatments, inlays, onlays, all-ceramic crowns, periodontal surgeries, whitening, and emergency care.

Just moved and needed a new dentist - this standard cleaning was the most painful/uncomfortable I've had. She does get the job done (and gives a nice goody bag on the way out), but I'd explore other options for my next appointment.

I've been going to Dr. Yakubova for a while now, and she has always been on time and thorough. Never had any issues with pain, her office/dental assistant is wonderful and very personable, and it's always comfortable to be in their office. Not easy to find a dentist you're comfortable with!

After not seeing a dentist for 2 years, I was a bit worried about what we'd find. Dr. Yakubova performed a thorough examination and did the cleaning herself. We set up an appointment to fill a cavity and I was out the door. Got the same service when I returned for the follow-up cavity filling.
In both experiences I had no wait time, the staff was friendly, it was no non-sense and I was comfortable with Dr. Yakubova. Positive experiences!

She did the root canal better than the cavity filling because after all I had an infection!
She also doesn't speak English very well...
Never told me how to take care of my teeth post-op -- I asked her "Do I have to do anything special?" and she said "nothing". I looked up some post-op care and they had pages of things one should do pre- and post-op! Don't think I'll be going back.

She was excellent. The best dental visit and cleaning that I have ever had. She was very thorough and she knows what she is talking about. She is also not tryin to make you pay for services that you don't need which is extremely rare in NYC.

In the last week or so had a teeth cleaning which Dr. Yakubova is so meticulous and the process was painless and leave there feeling really good. However, a cavity was found and she made an appointment for as soon as possible to do the root canal. Hearing the word root canal could be scary however, it was not bad at all cause of her tender touch and personality. She was very thorough cleaning the canal. Didn't feel a thing at all during the whole process and no pain one day after the root canal. Her staff is amazing and awesome. They make you feel very welcome and very reassuring. I recommend her and will never see another dentist

I have not been to the dentist in about 10 years and I was EXTREMELY nervous and scared. Upon my immediate arrival, Dr. Yakubova did everything to soothe my concerns. She walked me through every single step of what she was doing and did the cleaning herself. She is extremely attentive and patient. I truly highly recommend her.
